The album me and Optiks always wanted to make turns 1 years old today! Time really flies. What’s your favorite song on the album? Today, I’d have to say “FLAWS” is my jam.

Not much to say these days. Action is more my speed. As the American government burns and most of us are bracing for the impact of deep cuts to benefits and programs that affect us all, I’m trying to stay strong. I’m trying to smile. Some days it’s really difficult to see the good in people, or the world, but then I remember those folks I call community. I remember God is working (I believe in God and it’s ok if you don’t).

I call on my faith and call on my family. We’ve been showing up for each other and we’ll continue to do so. Check up on your people. Be vulnerable with your people. Help your people when you can. And these rappers…these musicians…these non-conglomerate, small business owners who brave the choppy capitalist waves to bare our souls and splash proverbial paint across the canvas in the name of art…support us offline.
