I’m gonna get right to it. I’m grateful for (almost) every person who clicks through and reads my newsletter. These days, I only holler when I have a show or tape or something. Even though that will wax and wane with time, this newsletter is no different. Let’s go.

🔥 MY NEXT SHOW - CHICAGO 9/5 - METRO 🔥

Stoked that my next show is with some great musicians at a great venue. Virgo season, amirite? BTW I’m a Cancer Sun, Pisces Moon and Virgo Rising. So I’m feeling froggy.

Ralph Ellison said, "Life is to be lived, not controlled; and humanity is won by continuing to play in face of certain defeat." If that’s the case, I’m playing. I’m working and I’m loving and I’m living, and I’m believing. Society is really sad right now and many of us are carrying so much stress and pain. But we move.

I’ve been working non-rap jobs nonstop and while they’re music related jobs, they take me away from my personal work. And my personal work is the very thing that’s gotten me this far. The path is the path, and while it evolves and changes, my personal work is the lifeblood of all this.

So with that said, new work is being cooked now. In the meantime, come see me perform at Metro Chicago on Friday, September 5th. I’m always coming with a trick up my sleeve and some raps in my heart.
